Henry's Happy Ending

After picking up Henry at the Bridgeport pound, the first stop was the vets. He had fleas, a fever of 102 and was feeling very under the weather. After a bath, antibiotics, heartworm and regular worming Henry was on the mend. He had to be quarantined in my barn for 10 days away from my other dogs but he never gave me an ounce of trouble. I got a call from Pat Sullivan in Massachusetts who was looking for a young male Jack Russell to keep her female company. When Pat arrived with Taz I was amazed at how much Taz and Henry looked alike. It was a match made in heaven and with Pat and Henry it was love at first sight. Below is a letter Pat sent me shortly after taking Henry home.

Hi Sue,
Thought I'd drop you a line about our little friend. He's doing just fine. I've decided to call him Henry. Henny-Penny when he's a good boy which I am happy to report is 95.9% of the time. He tries so hard you just can't get mad at him. He shows Oliver (15 year old JRT) the utmost respect and he and Taz have a great time together. He's fascinated with the cat, Pete. So far so good. Pete has decided he'll put up with him as long as he stays a paw's length away!.... We bought a pool for him Saturday. He picked it out. LOVES IT. He also likes to roll in "dead worm". All in all he is a little gem.
Have a Good One & Thanks,
Pat Sullivan
Henry
Taz
Ollie & Pete the Cat
